Hello! I have created a questionnaire that will help guide us in your mentor session to the areas that will most benefit you and your business. Feel free to be as short or as long as you'd like in these answers. If you are unsure about an answer, please write "none" in the text area. Once you complete the questionnaire, I will be in contact with you shortly.

Mentor Session Timeline

Set Up / We figure out a date, time and location to meet for a couple of hours. Coffee shops are ideal for these kinds of meetings.

Topics / We cover a wide range of topics at varying degrees. I will reference your questionnaire to create the foundation of the session. Please make sure to bring any gear that you shoot with and something to take notes with.

Q&A / This time is reserved for you to ask any questions I may not have answered. I firmly believe that there are no stupid questions, so this is not a time to be shy! Ask me anything.

Portfolio Review / An extensive critique of your portfolio. I will be focusing on the flow of your website (if you have one), your artist statement, your strengths in imagery, what can be improved and who your portfolio appeals to.

Optional Portraits / You have the option to end with some quick & natural portraits of yourself taken by me. You will not only obtain insight of what it is like to be on the other side of the camera and what your clients may feel like, but also in how I direct and achieve the images you see in my portfolio. These post-processed, full resolution images may be used both personally and professionally.

Beyond the Session / I am always available via E-mail or text if you have any questions about anything. Need suggestions on something new you’re trying? E-mail me! Need a critique on curation or an opinion on aesthetics? Please reach out to me. It is super important to have a colleague to turn to for advice. No judgment, just good honesty and connection.
