How much do you charge?
Wedding coverage begins at $3,500. I also offer smaller intimate wedding and elopement collections. All collections include edited high resolution images delivered on a private online gallery (with the ability to print directly from the gallery), a print release, and the option to add engagement portraits, albums and additional coverage. Do you travel?
Whether you are getting married in Michigan or in far away places, please don't hesitate to reach out to me. Having the ability to easily travel for assignments is a huge perk of my job. Working in a variety of locations and meeting new people in new places keep me feeling fresh, focused and inspired.
Peruse my travel schedule to see if I'm going to be in your neighborhood any time soon. If your location is not listed, reach out to me anyway. I do my best to keep travel costs at a minimum.
How many images do you deliver?
The image count really depends on the hours of coverage, the events planned, the size of the wedding, the schedule, how many details are in the wedding and how much you like being photographed. For 10-12 hours of coverage, I average around 550 delivered, finished images. At eight hours of coverage, I average at 350.
For portraits, I deliver between 50 - 150 images.
What is your turnaround time?
I strive to complete the images shortly after the wedding so the memories are still fresh. I state between 4-6 weeks for completion in the contract to allow for wiggle room, but average at three weeks after coverage.
For engagement sessions, it takes approximately two weeks.
Do you bring back up gear?
Yes. I would never step foot at an assignment without back-up. While I shoot only with professional grade equipment and take the upmost care of my gear, I am always prepared for the unexpected. I also back up all images to several devices (including cloud storage) and my cameras have dual card slots, which means each image is recorded onto two separate cards while shooting. Your images will survive a nuclear war. To see a list of the kind of gear I shoot with, click here.
Do you offer albums?
Yes. The art books that I provide lay flat at the seam, allowing for images to span an entire spread undisturbed. They are bound in bookcloth or soft leather and the images are printed on archival matte paper. Please click here to see the albums in action. More information, such as pricing, printing options, etc. is included in a pricing guide.
Do you help out with the timeline?
With 100+ weddings worth of experience, I have learned that it is best I help out with the timeline. Since I am often with my couples from the beginning of the day to the end, I have an intimate understanding of how a day really flows and know exactly what can cause a timeline to slow down and what measures to take to make sure everything runs smoothly. I often try to create a rough timeline in the initial meeting so there's a frame to work with by the time other vendors start inquiring, but will make sure to solidify everything around one month before the wedding date.
